Lo-Fi Entertainment, Ltd. was formed in 1997 by filmmaker/music promoter Lee Bennett Sobel. A graduate of New York University's film school where he directed numerous short films, Sobel worked for major television and feature film producers in New York and Hollywood before writing and directing his first feature-length movie, ROCKABILLY VAMPIRE, which was released in 2001 by Troma Entertainment.

Sobel started Lo-Fi Entertainment Home Video in 2002 to release his own work as a filmmaker, all of which are available through this website. Our films celebrate yet transcend the limitations of budget to deliver quality entertainment that is not hindered by the bottom line of major studios who are forced to produce material for the widest possible audience. At Lo-Fi Entertainment we embrace the niche and make movies the way we want to make them, not the way everyone else does.
